What Will 2018 Bring?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I can't believe 2017 is almost over.  What a year it has been...good and bad.  We mourned the loss of a dear friend, said goodbye to the dad of a good friend and prayed for friends and family going through hard times.  We had the opportunity to attend Super Bowl LI, the World Series, and travel to Ireland to see family as well as many other trips.  We also watched our kids soar in  sports, academics and more importantly their faith.  We have so much to be thankful for and we are blessed.

 

As I get older, time seems to go by so much faster and 2017 went by in a flash!  I had good intentions to slow down and enjoy each moment but lately I've become caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holidays and have been more focused on finishing the shopping, wrapping, baking, attending family gatherings and everyday tasks like laundry.  I am hoping to slow it down in 2018.  I pray for time...time to talk/listen to my kids, time to cultivate my wonderful relationship with my husband, time to visit family, time to enjoy coffee or lunch with friends (let's get together!) and mostly time to praise and worship.  I hope to reset, focus and achieve my health and wellness goals. 


Learning to walk instead of run...it's my mantra. 2018 will be a year of slowing down and enjoying what life brings my way.  I pray for spiritual and mental wellness and physical healing.  Every New Year is the chance to start over and I believe my best is yet to come! What will you wish for in 2018?
