Asian Glazed Salmon

I don't have to explain how much we love salmon in our house since I talk about it all the time!  I can literally make it 100 ways but this is one of my families' favorites and comes together in minutes!  The coconut aminos/honey combo is awesome and if you broil the salmon, they develop a slight crust for the perfect texture.  I love to serve this salmon with brussel sprouts, veggie fried rice or whatever veggie I can come up with.  You can also serve it over rice for a non-paleo version.  Enjoy!

 

Asian Glazed Salmon

  • 4 salmon fillets

  • 2 tablespoons Coconut aminos

  • 2 tablespoons Honey

  • 1 tsp. fresh ginger

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • Juice of ½ lime

Preheat oven to 400°.  Place salmon fillets (skin side down) in a 9x13 baking pan.  In a small bowl, combine coconut aminos, maple syrup, ginger, garlic and lime and stir until thoroughly blended.  Pour sauce mixture over salmon and bake for 12-15 minutes. 

When cooked, turn oven to broil.  Place baking dish on top rack and allow to brown for 3-5 minutes (watching carefully).  When the tops of the salmon are glazed, remove from oven.  Serve immediately.
