Chocolate Banana Protein Shake

Some of you have asked for the recipe so here's the protein shake I make for my son.  When it comes to protein powders, I don't like to make recommendations because everyone's needs are different.  I encourage you to read labels and research the ingredients.  Also, lots of protein powders are high in sodium and sugar so be thorough.  Keep it clean!!​




Chocolate Banana Protein Shake

  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond or coconut milk

  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (read ingredients!!)

  • 1 banana

  • 2 tablespoons almond butter

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

  • 1 tablespoon MCT oil

  • 1 cup ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in blender or Vitamix and blend until smooth.  Serve immediately.
