Some of you have asked for the recipe so here's the protein shake I make for my son. When it comes to protein powders, I don't like to make recommendations because everyone's needs are different. I encourage you to read labels and research the ingredients. Also, lots of protein powders are high in sodium and sugar so be thorough. Keep it clean!!
Chocolate Banana Protein Shake
1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond or coconut milk
1 scoop chocolate protein powder (read ingredients!!)
2 tablespoons almond butter
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 tablespoon MCT oil
1 cup ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in blender or Vitamix and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
